Great local deli serving various German foods and other deli meats. The owner is a real nice guy and treats ya well. The food they have is also really great. I'd recommend there liverwurst and bratwursts and there breads as I've been getting that for years. Although the other things they have are also so great. Really just try em out sometime
The Smokehouse has always been a great place to get meats, cold salads, and their sandwiches are to die for! I personally recommend turkey and cheese with coleslaw and russian dressing...If you're looking for ice cream, their other location on Old Hopewell Rd. is also great!
So happy with everything that I have ever purchased here. Outstanding products and services. My last trip was a last minute stop on the Saturday before St. Patrick's day. Stopped on a whim, forgot to preorder corned beef ahead of time. I asked if they had anything and explained I had forgotten to order one. They were so accommodating. I got my corned beef. It was AWESOME. I will never buy one anywhere else but here, EVER.
I been coming here since I been a kid. I love this is a family own and running business. The food and service is always top notch . They truly love east fishkill and the people here. It shows in how much effort they put in their food and taken care of people . The daily specials are amazing. My favorite is the pork schnitzel . A must try. George , Gus , and the whole family makes more than great food they make a great community. If you have never been there it’s a must have .
This is a primo smokehouse with an incredible deli. But with a twist. It's Bavarian/German as opposed to Italian. And that is really tough to find. And a deli that MAKES THEIR OWN SMOKED and PREPARED MEATS really is a rarity. And they do it well. With a great attitude. They are right off the Taconic, they're near 84, not far off 87, and close to heaven for carnivores. Checkout the website.
Excellent service and KILLER meats and sandwiches. They make their own cold cuts on site and you can really taste the difference. We have them cater all our bbq's now because everything is so good. We have never had something that wasn't top quality.
I absolutely love this place. We recently moved to the area and come every Saturday morning for breakfast. Rose welcomes you in her big voice as you come through the door, which always puts a smile on your face. The food is incredible, but the service is even better. Today, I ordered a last minute 3-foot American hero and Rose did everything she could to make it happen. Not only did she make it happen, the hero was ready by 11:00. Just wow. The hero itself was so tasty. Some of the best cold cuts I have ever had. Talk about quality! Also, the sides were very delicious. We got the pasta salad (not the mayo one) and the potato salad (not the mayo one). The potato salad was out of this world. Smoky, pieces of bacon, great slices of potato - you couldn’t ask for anything better. I could honestly eat a pound of that potato salad on my own! Anyway, I’m so glad that we stumbled across this incredible establishment. I look forward to our Saturdays and future catering needs. Thanks everyone!!
Hands down the best Reuben sandwich I've ever ever had. I've had it the first time in 1994 and loved it ever since. Every time I go to Fishkill I stop there and to order the same thing. My husband had an amazing Italian combo I also ordered homemade German potato salad and coleslaw and a couple packages of their freshly packed sausage.
Meat processing is excellent. Deli goods excellent. Smoked meats top notch. 👌 Best german foods around..
George, Rose, Marcella literally treat you like family everytime you walk in the door! Their homemade deli meats, sandwiches and salads are the best around. We enjoy their smoked products (venison). They are delicious. Every small business should adopt this family's model. Highly recommend!
